Rooted in the vibrant spirit of New Orleans, I am a Black woman whose journey into fashion didn’t begin in a studio. It began in a lifelong admiration for style, culture, and self-expression. For as long as I can remember, I’ve loved fashion: the way it tells stories, honors heritage, and transforms how we see ourselves. As a child, my Auntie Lisa introduced me to the sewing machine, planting a quiet but powerful seed. That being the idea that I could not only admire fashion, but create it with my own hands.
My latest collection was born from a very specific and meaningful moment, the instant a client sees themselves in the mirror wearing a piece made just for them. Perfectly fitted not only to their body, but to their taste, their presence, and their story. It is in that moment that something shifts. The light in their eyes. The confidence in their expression. The quiet realization of who they are and how they want to be seen. That transformation is what inspires me. With this collection, my goal is to create that moment again and again for every person in my city. I will give them the experience of truly seeing themselves and loving what they see.

Ones’s A Charm provides free shipping within the USA on orders over $650. Shipping costs are calculated at checkout.
PROCESSING TIME
One’s A Charm processing time starts from the moment of confirmation of the order by the OAC’s consultant via email.

It takes 7 to 15 business days to produce your, one-of-a-kind piece. After the production process is complete, your merchandise will be shipped.
CUSTOMS AND IMPORT TAXES
Buyers are responsible for any customs and import taxes that may apply. One’s A Charm is not responsible for delays due to customs. To find out more information about customs fees, click the link.
SHIPPING INFORMATION
ORDER STATUS
A $200 fee will be charged for garments that are returned with visible stains or damage. This amount will be deducted from your refund. We emphasize that cleaning a corset or a dress is a complex and costly process, especially since gowns are delicate and require specialized cleaning services. We reserve the right to reject a return entirely if stains are not cleaned or if we are unable to remove any hair or other marks.
We want to provide a beautiful dress or corset to another person who may want to order the same piece after you, and it is crucial that the garment remains in pristine condition.
We strongly advise you to take the following measures when trying on the garment at home:
It can be upsetting for our clients when a garment they've ordered is damaged or blemished. If so, inspect your order on arrival and contact us right away if it's defective, damaged, or if you've been sent the wrong item, so we can assess the issue.
A free return label is included for orders within the United States. Customers from other countries will be responsible for covering the cost of return shipping and parcel postage.
1. Buyer emails their return request to One’s A Charm within 3 days of receiving their item. To start a return email us at contactOnesACharm@teekish.com.
2. If your return is accepted, we’ll send you a return shipping label, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.
3. Buyer carefully packs the item(s) for shipping. If provided, all other items or attachments shipped with the purchased dress must be included in your return. This includes items such as belts, veils, detachable sleeves, bows, or any designer packaging like authenticity cards, price tags, dust bags, garment bags, decorative pendants. Etc
4. Send the item back within 14 days after it was delivered to you.
5. Please allow up to 14 days from the day your return arrives to our facility, for our team to inspect and process your return (and it may take your financial institution an additional 1-5 days to process the funds back into your account). You will be notified via email when the return has been processed.
6. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method. Please remember the method used.

Founder Mildred Hunter in charge of all designs. She works with a group of seamstress on larger designs.
